This trek start and ends at a beautiful city of west Nepal Pokhara. After driving 1 hour from Pokhara, you will reach to the trek starting point is Nayapul. As you continue slowly along the trek rising, the varied features of nature and those of the cultures and customs of diverse ethnic groups are observed. On the day you arrive at an altitude of 2300m. You will have an enjoyable sensation for life quite near to nature. The desirability of this trek is called Poonhill (3193m) highest viewpoint of your trek. This trek has also been called the Photographer’s Paradise as the views from this location exert a truly heavenly beauty.    Most of the hikes in the Annapurna Region takes us through the villages with Gurung and Magar religion. This trek offers its visitors some insights on the way of living of the brave Gurung and Magar locality.


    Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. You will be warm welcome by our office representative and escort to your hotel. Stay Overnight at hotel Kathmandu.

    After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 6 hrs to reach Pokhara. We also have the option for a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes. We will visit some prime spots in the lake city after refreshing at our hotel we will do a tour of some beautiful places in Pokhara that include Davids fall (if we reach early by road), and the Phewa Lake etc. we then do an overnight at our hotel by the lake in the lovely ‘city of lakes’ on BB Plan.     After having delicious breakfast we drive to Nayapul (2 hrs). After a short walk along the banks of the ModiKhola River, we reach Birethanti (1015m), a large village that has many shops and teahouses. From here, the trail continues along the north bank of the BhurungdiKhola before climbing steadily up the side of the valley to Hille (1495m) before reaching Tikhedungha (1570 m). Today’s walk is a short and relatively easy climb to allow you to get used to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Stay Overnight at Guest Houses.

    The trail rise to Ulleri village, through uncountable steps and you attain the Ulleri Village from where you can see the incredible views of more enjoyably terraces and river down to the valley. The trails then follow through Rhododendron forest arriving at the top of the Ghorepanideurali at 2810m and overnight on there. Stay Overnight at Guest Houses.

    Early in the morning before breakfast we have to start our sunrise trip from Poonhill (3210m. and 45min walk up). Poonhill is a popular view point in Annapurna Ranges from where we can see the Mountains as: Dhaulagiri I-8167m., Tukuche Peak-6920m., Dhampus Peak-6012m., Nilgiri-7061m., Annapurna I-8091m., Annapurna South-7219m., Himchhuli-6441m., Fishtail-6997m., Annapurna II-7937m., Lamjung Himal-6920m., Manaslu-8163m., and many more. After sunrise trip we will back to Ghorepani, Take breakfast and after breakfast we start our trek to Deurali for one and half hours up and gentle trek from the ridge. After Deurali another one and half-hour gentle downhill to Banthanti for Lunch. After lunch one and half hours very nice gentle up and down to Tadapani Village (2660m.). Tadapani is a small gurung village totally surrounding by rhododendron forest from where you will get Mountain View of: Annapurna South-7219m., Himchhuli-6441m., Fishtail-6997m., Mardi Himaletc in closed distance.     From Tadapani the trail descends through forests to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal; they have their own dialect, culture, costume, and life style. Ghandruk is also home to many Gurkha soldiers. It is a famous destination for trekkers as it is known for its beautiful mountain views and within easy reach from Pokhara and Kathmandu. We have the afternoon to visit the Farmers Village, Museum and explore the village. Stay Overnight at Guest Houses.

    Early morning after breakfast enjoy the Mountain View from Hotel then start to trek to Nayapool via Birethanti which is painstaking a best most taking relax of the whole Trek. We reach Nayapul. Then an hour drive will take us back to Pokhara. Stay Overnight at hotel Pokhara.

    After having breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu City [200 Km/ 6 hrs drive]. Rest of the day free for your personal activities. Stay Overnight at hotel Kathmandu.

    Sadly today your journey to Nepal ends. Our office representative will guide you to the airport some 3 hours before the flight. Have a safe journey ahead.

Annapurna Trekking Region is one of the most popular trekking regions of Nepal. You will found extensive ranges of meals. Three meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner). The meals include noodles, soups, handmade bread, rice items, curries, spaghetti, pizza, egg items, and potatoes. All the meals will be served in lodges. Generally, dinner and breakfast are served in a lodge and lunch is served during the trek. You will have full possibilities or choices to choose your favored stuff from a minor menu provided by the lodge.

Equipment List

Himalaya Friendly Treks has always been keen about safety on the journey. We have prepared Trekking Equipment List which the trekkers will need during their trek in Nepal. The following list should help you with your packing. Generally, you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum

Footwear

Trekking boots, trekking socks, and sandals.

Clothing: 

Down jacket, waterproof jacket, and trousers, trekking trousers, long sleeve shirts, microfleece, mid to heavyweight fleece, sleeveless or body warmer type fleece, thermals or base layer for top & bottom (merino wool or synthetic), fleece pants,

Handwear:

fleece gloves warm mittens and/or gloves.

Headwear:

Sun hat, wool or fleece hat, scarf, head torch and extra batteries for incase, and sunglasses.

Personal Equipment:

Day backpack large enough to carry water bottles, camera, lunch and extra clothing, stuff sacks for keeping your gear dry and organized, two water bottles (Nalgene wide-mouth bottles are the best), sunscreen and lip salve with a high SPF, insect repellent, water purification tablets (Pristine, Box Aqua or Aqua Mira), iPod and cards etc., trekking poles, camera with spare batteries and memory cards, insurance certificate.

Personal first aid kit:

Small personal first-aid kit. (Simple and light), Aspirin, first-aid tape, plasters (Band-Aids), 1 skin-blister repair kit Anti-diarrhea pills, Anti-headache pills, Cough and/or cold medicine, Anti-altitude sickness pills: Diamox or Acetylzolamide, Stomach antibiotic: Ciprofloxacin, etc. Do not bring sleeping pills as they are a respiratory depressant, Water purification tablets or water filter, 1 set of earplugs, Extra pair of prescription glasses and contact lens supplies.
